Ancient shard OSRS are obtained by killing monsters within the Catacombs of Kourend. Players use Ancient shards OSRS on an altar within the catacombs to create various combat-boosting potions. These potions will last for five minutes. It is important to note that they do not stack with overloads. Each brew takes 45 seconds to make, so you must use your time efficiently if you want any prayer XP from the catacombs as it only gives 15 XP per minute no matter what activity you choose to do there.
How many ancient shards can we get per day?
It is entirely random to get ancient shards, but it varies from 1-5 shards per monster, with an average of 2. The only way you can increase the number of shards you get per day is by increasing your slayer level.
How can People make more ancient shard OSRS?
To make the most out of your trip to the catacombs, people can use these ways:
Selection of highly populated world
Choose a highly populated world in which other players are constantly killing monsters for you to collect their drops faster. Selection of a highly populated world will also help negate the familiar prayer XP you get while there. You should kill every demon that spawns on your screen. And then immediately target another one when it appears if there isn’t already another player killing it. It means you should have a monster to kill, even if there aren’t any on your current screen.
Increase in slayer XP/hr.
If you cannot find a highly populated world, perhaps consider bringing some food for you to stay at the catacombs longer and increase your slayer XP/hr.
Inventory management:
Inventory management is also significant while at the catacombs so that you have enough inventory space to store all of your drops. If needed, use fishbowls or bags of holding to make more room.

Use of Ancient shards OSRS:
Creation of various combat boosts:
To create various combat boosts, we use Ancient shards. The first type of boost you will want to make is the super anti-fire which increases your max hit against particular dragon-related monsters such as fire giants and black dragons. Make this by using a clean Samedan and 100 ancient shards on the dark altar found inside the catacombs.
Formation of Zamorak brew:
Another significant potion you may wish to make is the Zamorak brew for its strength boost. To make it, use 100 ancient shards with a total at the same altar (dark). This potion degrades over time, and if you die with any in your inventory, it will disappear. For this reason, I recommend only making them when you need them or keeping them in the noted form in your bank.
To boost your Hardness value to its highest, you can also employ a higher strength potion or a monster battleaxe particular action before you take a dose. When slaying Corporeal Beast, Zamorak brews are frequently used. A dose can be administered before combat, and the dropped stats are then recovered with an elaborate regeneration pool. The brews are an excellent alternative for super fight potions because they are less expensive and feature a more considerable Attack boost. Due to these disadvantages, they are uncommon for usage in everyday life. The lunar magic Boost Potion Share is not compatible with Zamorak brews.
Formation of prayer potion from ancient shards
Finally, if people want to make a prayer potion from ancient shards, It is recommended to use it on the Zamorak altars found throughout the catacombs. If not, use them on the altar inside Zemouregal’s fort for a small XP gain. Make sure to leave a rune essence at this altar, as it will give you a slight chance to receive 2x XP while training within Zemouregal’s fort if you have left a core there before.
Ancient shard OSRS is necessary for you to get quick transportation to the four areas in the Catacombs of Kourend: Demon’s Run on the northeast, where you fight lesser and black demons, Dragon’s Den on the northwest where you fight brutal black dragons, Reeking Cove on the south to fight deviant specters, The Shallows on the southeastern to fight King Sand Crabs. Hitpoints the monster assigned to people leads to the drop rate of ancient shard OSRS.
How are Ancient shards OSRS obtained?
Players can obtain Ancient shards OSRS by killing monsters within the Catacombs of Kourend. They drop in 1/50 chance when killing any of the monsters below, assigned based on your slayer level. The drop rate increases to 1/30 while wearing a dark totem, crafted by combining a zenith shard with a lava battle staff.
After reaching 100% favor with the Arceuus House in Great Kourend, players will be able to enter a hidden room underneath the statue of King Rada I, where they can obtain 2-4 ancient shards every five minutes up to 65,000 XP per hour.

Importance of Ancient shard OSRS:
Ancient shard OSRS is necessary to craft the best potions in-game if you want to make them at the ZAMORAK or DARK ALTARS. You will need 100 ancient shards (can be bought on GE every two h) and clean Samedan (obtained by cutting toxic plants in the house garden- requires 89 farming).
There are four super anti-fire potions for each dragon-related monster: lesser demon, black demon, brutal black dragon, and fire giant. To make them, use 100 ancient shards on the dark altar or ZAMORAK ALTAR to get 250 fire runes along with 300 molten glass. Now you need to add Samedan to make an anti-fire potion that gives you 150 XP. Repeat three more times for all four brews since you need four doses of each one. For maximum efficiency, bank your potions after making each dose, then continue making super anti-fires.
